USGA RULES GOVERN ALL PLAY
EXCEPT AS MODIFIED BY LOCAL RULES
- Out of Bounds is defined by white stakes with the following exceptions: All paved roads and the outer edge of the cart paths on holes 2,3,14, and 15 are also out of bounds.
- Local rule: When a provisional ball has not been played, a player may drop in the fairway nearest to the point where the original ball crossed out of bounds. A 2 stroke penalty is applied.
- All Lateral Penalty Areas are defined by Red stakes on the Golf Course side of the ponds. Any ball that comes to rest on the Homeowner’s side of a Lateral Penalty area is deemed out of bounds.
- All Coquina cart paths are designated waste areas and the ball must be played as it lies, no relief. The player may ground his or her club.
- Players are entitled to free relief from sprinkler heads around the green as long as the sprinkler is within 2 club lengths of the green and the ball is within 2 club lengths of the sprinkler.
- Any ball that comes to rest in the flower bed behind the 13th green will be entitled to a free drop, no nearer the hole.
